Can a promissory note be sold for cash? I was wondering if this is legal…
To answer your question, yes they can be sold. However in some states the law may be a bit trickier, possibly requiring notification of the note lender (person loaning the money) to notifiy the borrower of a sale in this fashion. Check with an attorney first!
